The lavaliere microphone employs a unidirectional electret condenser microphone element.

The lavaliere or tie clip microphone is required to complete the 2 part UHF radio microphone belt pack transmitter.

For the main person speaking (i.e. lecturer etc) a tie clip radio microphone will ensure freedom of use throughout the room when connected to the induction loop system.

To complete the radio microphone system a microphone receiver is required to pick up the signal sent by the radio microphone transmitter.
