Introduction
When a home induction loop system is installed people who are hearing impaired can use the hearing aid set to the 'T' position. The telecoil in the hearing aid picks up the magnetic waves produced by the loop system. A direct copy of the audio signal from the telly is now 'induced' in this coil and the hearing aid converts this electrical signal back to audible sound for the wearer to hear. In this way, someone sitting in the lounge can clearly hear the telly free from background noise - simply by being inside the loop area.

Installation
The Mega Loop Pro ™ home induction loop system provides everything required to help people who are hearing impaired hear the telly or radio better. Very easy to install (can usually be installed in less than an hour) simply by feeding a thin wire around the room. This is then kept in place either by clipping to the skirting board or by tucking under the carpet edge.

Overview
The Mega Loop Pro ™ is a dedicated induction loop amplifier, covering up to 30 square metres. The built in AGC circuit maintains a clear and constant level of sound; this helps pre-vent the hearing aid from distorting. That means whatever the TV, radio or hi-fi volume, the hearing aid user will receive a constant level of clear sound with no background noise. When you demand stability and reliability, the Mega Loop DAC will deliver, even in difficult environments.

Loop Area

*** PLEASE NOTE: The New MegaLoop Pro is a more powerful loop that can cover a larger area than a standard room loop system. Loop wire recommended areas for areas covered according to BS EN 60118-4-2006: 

• 16 sqm to 40 sqm – 0.75mm csa
• 40 sqm to 65 sqm – 1mm csa
• 65 sqm to 90 sqm – 1.5mm csa

Digital Audio Converter Circuit
The NEW MegaLoop Pro ™ allows easy connection to most modern digital TVs.

The MegaLoop Pro ™ System has an integrated Digital Audio Converter, making this the easiest loop system to connect to modern televisions using the digital optical output socket on the TV. It is easy to install with just one Toslink Cable, which is provided.

Tone and volume control
The tone and volume can be adjusted to suit your hearing loss and preference. It is completely independently from the sound level of the TV, so that the television volume can be set at a comfortable level for others.

Audio Connection
A line input socket is provided for connection to a radio, hi-fi etc.

Microphone connection
There are two specifically designed microphone sockets, one to be used when the microphone is fixed to a TV speaker and one as a priority for environmental sounds or for conversation.

Ease of connection
With its built-in DAC, it is easily connected to the digital optical output socket of your TV. The correct sound from the optical output socket via the TV is secured in the loop.
